Country: Syrian Arab RepublicOrganization: Watan SyriaClosing date: 8 Sep 2026Job Purpose:Working with a skilled team to deliver the best outcome on a timely manner, monthly closing for the accounting data, ensuring the quality of the donor’s financial reports, taking part in developing the methods of work and assisting in developing the needed financial tools to raise the work performance to the next level.Key Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day operations in the full spectrum of accounting services, including accounts payables, accounts receivable, application of cash receipts, accounts reconciliation, billing, monthly closing of accounts, bank reconciliation, forecasting, consolidation and year-end closing of account;Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance, reconciling entries.Provide support for financial operations to be executed in accordance with the FOM, donors’ guidelines and ensure that proper and accurate accounting records are maintainedSummarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, activity statement, and other statements.analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors upon the need.prepare and review the monthly financial reports to donors and partners based on the contracts conditions.Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.Secures financial information by completing database backups.Protects organization's value by keeping confidentiality.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;Ability to team leading and distribution the tasks and provide technical support for them.Participate in raising the capacity for the team and the department.QualificationsBachelor’s degree (Accounting – economic-banking )Languages English, ArabicTravel Availability /Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationallyCommunication skills – teamwork spirit – positive and creative personalityHow to applyJoin our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on communities by leading successful bid strategies and ensuring the sustainable development of impactful projects.Early applications will be reviewed and shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviewsApply now via this link:https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1rI_TyYrsVPcHq9udY7UszeMw6RYlocSO3rFMIOQBH74/edit
