The Child Protection Specialist report to Chief of Field Office in developing, managing, implementing, monitoring, reporting, and evaluating UNICEF’s child protection programmes. The role provides technical guidance and management support to strengthen child protection systems, promote children’s rights, and prevent and respond to all forms of harm. The Specialist ensures programme results are achieved in line with UNICEF’s Strategic Plans, Results-Based Management (RBM) principles, resource allocations, performance standards, and accountability frameworks, while contributing to national and international child protection priorities.
