IDA is an international independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. IDA was founded in 2012 by Syrian doctors from Aleppo in response to the healthcare and humanitarian crisis in Syria. IDA Syria is the main healthcare provider in the Northern Aleppo/Syria area, working closely with 500,000 IDPs and 700,000 host community through 20 healthcare facility and other health and nutrition projects During last year, IDA has provided 1.2 million services in Heath, Nutrition, WaSH and Camp Management Location: Syria - Northern Aleppo Countryside : Bab Alnour PHC Main Duties and Responsibilities: -Provide high quality services (as an Anesthesia Technician) 6.5 hours per day, 5 days per week and coordinate with the Lab Specialist according to the agreed roster. -Conduct lab tests that are required by the specialist according to the guideline. -Prepare and take all lab samples by safe technical methods and prepare them for required lab tests. -Write down samples and results in special records. -Follow up lab tests and distribute results to departments and related clinics. -Prepare periodical statistical reports. -Follow up on repairing and maintenance of the devices with the technical staff. -Apply safety rules and principles at work. - Do other duties -within his/her experiences- assigned by supervisor -Strictly adhere to humanitarian and protection principles and standards, as well as organizational policies including the Code of Conduct, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) and Child Protection Required Qualifications: Laboratory Technician certification. Minimum of five years of work experience as a laboratory technician in hospitals. Computer skills (Microsoft applications).
