Organization: Magenta FZEClosing date: 10 Sep 2026Team LeadLocation:RemoteReporting Manager:SBC Senior Programme ManagerStart date:September 2026Duration:6 months, approx.. 15 days totalType:ConsultancyRemuneration:5,000 USDApplication Deadline:10 September 2026In this role, you will provide strategic direction and quality assurance across the five-phase assignment, serve as MAGENTA’s principal liaison with ILO, and ensure that all deliverables form one coherent, practical and evidence-led package.MAGENTA is a leading Social and Behavioural Change agency. We combine behavioural science, research, strategy and communications to help UN agencies, governments, civil society and other partners address complex social challenges. This consultancy supports the ILO STREAM programme to strengthen uptake of labour migration and social protection knowledge across the South Asia–Gulf corridor.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Team Lead will report as set out above. Core responsibilities include:Serve as MAGENTA’s principal account-management, maintaining a responsive, constructive relationship and clear communication throughout the assignment.Chair the kick-off and weekly project meetings, agree governance and review arrangements, maintain oversight of the workplan, and ensure that decisions and actions are recorded and followed through.Coordinate the core team and consultants, confirm responsibilities and dependencies, and address resourcing, scheduling or delivery issues before they affect milestones.Track progress, risks, approvals and client inputs across all five phases; escalate blockers promptly and manage any agreed changes to scope, timing or delivery arrangements.Manage submission and review cycles for all deliverables, ensuring that consolidated feedback is assigned, resolved and reflected within agreed deadlines.Lead MAGENTA’s quality-assurance process and confirming that each deliverable is ready for client submission.Support the final validation and handover process from an account-management perspective, ensuring that ILO receives agreed final files and that all outstanding actions are closed.REQUIREMENTSPostgraduate degree in communications, knowledge management, international development, behavioural science, social policy or a related field; equivalent senior experience may be considered.At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in knowledge management, strategic communications and/or international development.Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary, multi-country assignments and producing high-quality strategies and analytical deliverables for international organisations.Strong understanding of evidence synthesis, audience-centred communication, institutional uptake, implementation planning and monitoring.Excellent client management, facilitation and written communication skills; excellent written and spoken English required.Experience in the Gulf and/or South Asia–Gulf migration corridor is strongly desirable.COMPETENCIESStrategic leadership and sound judgementClear communication and stakeholder managementQuality focus, accountability and collaborative deliveryWORKING CONDITIONSThe assignment is expected to be delivered primarily remotely across a compressed 16-week schedule; availability must align with the agreed workplan and review windows.The consultant must work respectfully with ILO, MAGENTA colleagues, corridor-based consultants and diverse institutional partners, following agreed data-protection, consent and accessibility requirements.How to applyINSTRUCTIONSApply before 10 September 2026.
