The ideal candidate can turn complex humanitarian stories into clear, moving narratives optimized for fundraising campaigns, social media, and donor engagement, while handling sensitive content with care and cultural awareness.Key ResponsibilitiesEdit raw footage (field documentation, interviews, event coverage, b-roll) into polished videos for fundraising campaigns, social media, and donor communicationsProduce content in multiple formats and lengths — short-form social clips (Reels, TikTok, Stories), longer donor/impact videos, and event highlight reelsAdd subtitles/captions (English and Arabic as needed), motion graphics, music, and sound design to enhance storytellingCollaborate with the Media and Digital Marketing teams to align videos with campaign messaging, branding, and calls to actionTranslate raw, sometimes emotionally difficult footage into content that is respectful, dignified, and effective for fundraising purposesColor grade and ensure consistent visual quality and branding across all deliverablesOrganize and manage video assets, project files, and version controlDeliver final files in formats optimized for various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, email campaigns, websites)Meet deadlines tied to campaign launches and time-sensitive fundraising eventsRespect and apply all PSEA Principles and show a high commitment to reporting any of them.Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibility/accountability may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart.QualificationsProven portfolio of video editing work, ideally including nonprofit, documentary, or humanitarian storytellingProficiency in industry-standard editing software and programs (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, CapCut, or similar)Strong narrative instincts; able to shape raw footage into a story that drives emotional connection and donor actionExperience with motion graphics, captions/subtitles, and social-media-optimized formatsSensitivity to cultural context and ethical storytelling when editing footage involving vulnerable populations (children, displaced families, etc.)Advanced level in English is a plus (for captioning/translation coordination)Strong communication skills and ability to incorporate feedback efficientlyReliable and able to turn around content quickly around campaign deadlinesAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesHow to applySyrian Forum shall place no restrictions on the eligibility of men and women to participate in any capacity and under conditions of equality in its principal and subsidiary organs.Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications through the following link Clicking here no later than September 19, 2026.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
