UNICEF Malaysia is supporting the Selangor state to assess the design and implementation of the IMPAK programme, including its reach, relevance and perceived usefulness and support to informal childcare providers and family caregivers in the home, as well as the reported application of knowledge and skills gained across a range of dimensions. The assessment will identify programme strengths, implementation gaps and opportunities, examine the feasibility and requirements for scale-up and structured competency-based certification pathways that complement existing certification systems, and determine the adaptations needed to scale up such a programme to support a wider group of beneficiaries, and integrate disability-inclusive care.
