DEL is hiring Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Experts based in East Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Uganda).Candidates must meet the following criteria:Master's degree (or equivalent) in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health or a related fieldAt least five (5) years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation and/or learning for donor-funded development or humanitarian programmesDemonstrated experience applying the OECD-DAC evaluation criteria or equivalent MEAL frameworksStrong quantitative and/or qualitative research skills, including experience with statistical software (Stata, SPSS or R) and/or qualitative analysis toolsProficiency with digital data collection platforms (ODK, KoboCollect, SurveyCTO or CommCare)Sound knowledge of the development, humanitarian and policy context of the country of residence (Kenya, Uganda, Somalia or Ethiopia)Prior experience working with UN agencies, international NGOs or bilateral/multilateral donors is highly desirableExperience conducting gender-sensitive and disability-inclusive research is an assetExcellent report-writing and facilitation skills in English; working proficiency in other relevant local languages is an advantageBased in Kenya, Uganda, Somalia or Ethiopia.How to applyTo apply, fill the form: https://forms.gle/RnKg441tf2fKijzZ6 by 20 September 2026.Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
