S/he guarantees relevant, timely and quality medical responses adapted to crisis contexts, while supporting both field operations and emergency preparedness.Main responsibilitiesRapid Assessments and Emergency Response*· Participate in exploratory missions and rapid health assessments· Identify medical needs and priorities· Support emergency response preparedness and initiation2. Medical Strategy Design and Implementation· Ensure alignment with MSF medical and operational priorities· Contribute to medical strategies definition and adaptation in emergency contexts· Ensure implementation of medical activities based on agreed strategy· Integrate public health approaches (epidemics, nutrition, vaccination)3. Operational coordination· Supervise and support medical teams in the field· Ensure coordination with MoH and partners· Support or replace MedCo/PMR when needed4. Resource Management· Contribute to planning, budgeting and monitoring of medical resources5.
