Since then, HiHFAD remained at the forefront of humanitarian agencies, providing life-saving aid to Syrians in hard-to-reach areas. Our extensive Healthcare Program has enabled us to expand and reach even more communities and internally displaced people; providing a comprehensive, integrated multi-sectoral intervention in Health, Nutrition, WaSH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), Protection, Shelter, Non-Food Assistance, Food Security, Livelihoods, and Education.HiHFAD mandate is to alleviate the suffering of those in need without any type of discrimination, protect the most vulnerable, promoting social justice and welfare, and fostering durable solutions through delivering community-based humanitarian and development interventions.Job overviewThis position will be responsible mainly for supervising the financial tasks on the accounting system, supervising the cash transactions, and bank reconciliation, supervising the accounting unit team.Main Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAccounting System tasks:1. Supervise Accounting System (QuickBooks) works in order to complete accounting transactions posting for the financial year.2. Prepare QuickBooks imported files.3. Review and control the Charts of Accounts,4. Review accounting system (QuickBooks) transactions posting and allocation.5. Upload and review the cash received to accounting system (QuickBooks),6. Upload Banks Transactions to accounting system (QuickBooks),7. Upload Monthly Payroll to accounting system (QuickBooks),8. Upload the inventory transactions to accounting system (QuickBooks),9. Dealing with fixed assets records.10. Recording the prepaid and accruals transactions.11. Reconcile cash and bank statement on the accounting system (QuickBooks).12. Reconcile Payroll accrual transactions and make the need adjustments.13. Reconcile the accounting system (QuickBooks) reports with donor reports.14. Reconcile the accounts and make the adjustments posting to close the financial year.15. Recording the adjustments entries for the inventory, exchange rate, and any other needed accounts adjustments.16. Prepare the balance sheet for the financial year.17. Supervise the accounting staff in the main office and in the field.18. Provide need training for accounting staff who are responsible for entries.19. Provide the external auditor requirements and provide the needed support for the auditing process.Cash flow and Bank Technical Supervision tasks:1. Supervising Bank management, transferring orders, relationships with bank focal point.2. Supervising the cash flow management inside Syria in cooperation with the accounting team.3. Supervising the cash withdrawal requests to cover the expenses of‎ office’s needs.4. Reconcile cash count balance on monthly basis with the cash books register.5. Review distribution of cash withdrawal amounts according to the payment list needed received from the field offices according to the financial advance restoration needs for each ‎office.6. Establishing working plans for tasks assigned to the accounting team.7.
