We use sport and play to promote children and young people’s development and support them in becoming active and engaged members of their communities. With our projects, we contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on the areas of health, education, employment, as well as social cohesion and environment. We are based in Biel/Bienne and are ZEWO-certified, the Swiss quality label for charitable organisations.As soon as possible, we are looking for:Senior Fundraising Coordinator (30-40%)YOUR TASKSIn close cooperation with SA4D project leads, your responsibilities may include:Coordinate FR activities at SA4D, including identification and tracking of suitable funding partners and establishment of new contacts while maintaining strong relationships with foundations, public authorities and other donors.Develop and refine SA4D’s fundraising strategy, tools and processes, and support fundraising campaigns together with Communications.Maintain and optimise the fundraising database, track opportunities and deadlines, and support reliable fundraising planning and follow-up.Represent SA4D at relevant foundation events, symposia and networking opportunities, advise colleagues on fundraising, and take on additional tasks as required.Raise funds for SA4D projects and mandates, with a particular focus on institutional fundraising.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORRelevant qualifications in fundraising, communications, international cooperation, business administration or a related field, or equivalent professional training.Several years of proven professional fundraising experience and knowledge of the Swiss fundraising landscape, with a strong focus on institutional fundraising. Please include a selection of fundraising achievements with your application.The ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with foundations, public authorities and other funding partners.A strong network of funders, experience in project management or international cooperation and/or a strong affinity with SA4D’s use of sport and play for development would be a distinct advantage, but not a requirement.Strong editorial skills, an eye for design, analytical thinking and a consistent commitment to quality.Excellent written and spoken German and English.
