SI operates in over 23 countries, with 2,400 staff working to restore access to essential services and strengthen community resilience.Project OverviewSolidarités International (SI) main objective was to provide Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services to limit and prevent the spread of cholera among members of communities affected by – and at risk of – outbreaks in cholera-hit areas of Eastern Chad and Western Sudan. The intervention targeted both host communities, IDPs/returnees and refugees through a coordinated response in cholera hotspots in North and Central Darfur, Eastern Chad as well as along the Geneina-Adré route in Chad and Sudan.
