We help children of all backgrounds, even in the most dangerous places, inspired by our Christian faith.Come join our 33,000+ staff working in nearly 100 countries and share the joy of transforming vulnerable children’s life stories!Here’s where you come in:As National Director, you will drive World Vision Armenia’s mission and strategic direction, providing leadership in overseeing the organization’s overall performance and management of day-to-day operations. You will ensure operational and financial sustainability through organizational development, wise stewardship, funding diversification, and effective risk management and compliance.You will manage the Senior Leadership Team and staff, ensuring full alignment with World Vision’s Global Partnership Strategy Our Promise, while meeting desired goals and objectives. You will support and participate in the WVA Board, representing World Vision to donors, project partners, government, church representatives, and NGOs.You will provide high-quality leadership in response to significant organizational challenges and external pressures, demonstrating a high standard of personal Christian leadership, ministry, and integrity. You will lead by example through your lifestyle and work relationships and provide spiritual guidance to staff on the organization’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values.You will provide overall strategic and operational leadership for World Vision Armenia Branch and Foundation (WVA), enabling the organization to maximize its impact for child well-being, minimize WV’s risk, and align with the World Vision Family Likeness as a self-funded office.You will ensure WVA is appropriately structured, financially viable, appropriately resourced, and compliant with WV policies. You will represent WV to all donors, project partners, other WV Partnership offices and divisions, local government, church representatives, and non-governmental organizations, serving according to the given Power of Attorney. You will also support and participate in the WVA Board.Requirements include:10+ years proven Senior Leadership experience with International NGOs in transformational development programming.Proven track record of grant acquisition and managementKnowledge of humanitarian sector and donor community.Excellent Armenian and English communication skills (oral and written)Strong communication skills (oral and written) with ability to express ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively with senior internal and external stakeholders.Willing to travel domestically and internationally as requiredExperience in program assessment, design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing.Experience in design and facilitation of training programs.You will be based in Yerevan, with regular visits to field, as required.How to applyIs this the job for you?Find the full responsibilities and requirements for this position and apply online by the closing date October 12, 2026World Vision is dedicated to our team members’ development and their success.
