Job Overview: The Clinical Services Supervisor oversees and provides culturally, and linguistically appropriate mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) designed to improve the holistic well-being of human trafficking survivors. The position has four main functions: 1) Clinical services - conducting mental health intakes and assessments, developing individual service plans, and delivering evidence-based and evidence-informed interventions, 2) Clinical supervision - supervising non-licensed psychosocial support staff to ensure services are of quality, trauma informed, and culturally relevant, and 3) Care coordination - with internal and external providers to ensure holistic client support, and 4) Outreach and engagement - to build provider and community capacity to identify, respond to, and serve survivors of human trafficking. The Clinical Services Supervisor must be an independently licensed counselor/therapist in WA State. Strong candidates must have experience helping help high barriers clients navigate and access systems, and delivering culturally responsive, linguistically accessible services. This position reports to the MHPSS Program Manager with clinical supervision provided by IRC’s MHPSS Technical Advisor. Clinical Responsibilities: • Supervision • Ensure clinical quality of programming • Conduct intake and assessment and develop individual service plans • Provide interventions and activities in-office, remotely, and in community settings • Maintain a clinical case load (approx. 15-20 clients) • Manage crisis (i.e., suicide assessments, safety planning, mandatory reporting, etc.) • Care coordination including warm hand-offs as needed • Support development and delivery of psychoeducation training to IRC staff and community partners to strengthen response and services for survivors of human trafficking. • Supervise master’s level Practicum Interns Project Management Responsibilities: • Arrange for interpreters as needed to appropriately engage clients in services • Ensure timely and accurate documentation, data entry, and reporting • Monitor program activity and quality through oversight and support related to case and project documentation • Evaluate effectiveness of program related to client progress and individual service plan objectives • Communicate and coordinate regularly with all levels of program staff to ensure that services are being delivered effectively and in a timely manner • Strengthen and maintain partnerships with community mental health agencies to expand client resources • Deliver capacity-building initiatives to strengthen community response and services for human trafficking victims • Other duties as assigned Key Working Relationships: Position Reports to: MHPSS Program Manager Position Supervises: WARN Mental Health MSW interns Other Internal and/or external contacts: Internal**:** WARN Team, Family Wellness Team, Resettlement Team, Employment Team, Immigration Team, Youth Program Team, New Roots Team, Health Empowerment Team, Volunteer Coordinator, Finance Team, Operations Team, Development Team. Job Requirements: Certificates or Licenses: • Holds a valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington • In accordance with state Law, must possess or be eligible to receive a fingerprint clearance card • Must have a valid driver’s license, active insurance policy Work Experience: • Proficiency in English, and Spanish language(s) required • At least three years’ experience with therapeutic intake, assessment, service planning, treatment reviews and case closures • At least two years’ experience providing evidence-based, evidence-informed, or best-practice interventions • At least one year of supervisor experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong intercultural communication skills: demonstrated ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds • Strong computer, keyboard, email, and general office skills Working Environment***:*** • Standard, professional office environment (hybrid remote and in-office) • Access to reliable transportation to travel regularly throughout the service delivery area • Position may involve evening and weekend work and travel Compensation: (Pay Rate: $81,000 - $89,100/yr). Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
