Screen-printing Workshop Assistant

Our HQ are located in Frankfurt, Germany Paréa Prints is a screen printing social enterprise run by Europe Cares on Lesvos, Greece. We run a hands-on screen printing training programme for displaced people and produce printed merchandise for clients and our own label. We are building something meaningful together and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of that. We are looking for a motivated and reliable person to join the Paréa Prints team as a Workshop Assistant. This role is open exclusively to people with lived experience of displacement who are able to legally live and reside in Greece. You will be based on Lesvos and work part-time (20 hours a week). The starting date is November 2026. Daily tasks • Receive hands-on training in the full screen printing process • Learn pre-press preparation, screen coating and exposure • Prepare and register screens for single and multi-colour prints • Mix inks and match colours accurately • Prepare and handle garments for printing • Support quality control throughout the production process • Support the daily setup and maintenance of the workshop • Assist in delivering screen printing training sessions to community participants • Help maintain a safe, welcoming and organised workshop environment • Support outreach activities to promote Paréa Prints in the community and beyond • Help document the work of Paréa Prints — photographing sessions and finished prints, maintaining a print archive, and supporting content for social media and reporting • Monitor and follow up on stock levels and supplies • Assist with order tracking and production scheduling • Bring a solution-oriented approach to problems that come up during production • Assist with logistics (packing, driving and shipping orders) What we are looking for • Eligible to legally reside and work in Greece (as a small NGO we are not able to offer assistance for visa applications); • Able to commit for 6 months; • Able to provide a Criminal Record Check; • English is required; Arabic, Farsi, Turkish or Greek are a strong plus • Comfortable with or eager to learn office tools (Google Sheets, Docs, email) • No prior screen printing experience needed; a willingness to learn is what matters • Reliable and punctual • Communicates clearly, respectfully and professionally with colleagues, clients and participants. • Brings curiosity and creativity to their work: an interest in design, visual arts or making things is very welcome • Self-motivated and proactive, ready to help build the project from the ground up • Genuinely interested in the social mission of Paréa Prints • High degree of integrity and strict compliance to Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Policy • Commitment to the values and mission of Europe Cares What you get • Greek employment contract with 14 annual salaries (20 hours per week) • 100 euros food vouchers a month • 30 days of paid vacation per year • Lunch and breakfast on working days • Regular training sessions and team-building events • Support for your continued professional development • Access to a wide network of partner organizations and local actors How to apply Please apply here by October the 4th.
