The Social and Behavior Change Specialist is based in the Health Section and reports to the Chief of Health (P5). The position leads Health SBC and community engagement efforts to support the achievement of the UNICEF Ethiopia CPD 2025-2030 health results. The role integrates SBC across PHC, RMNCAH, immunization, emergency preparedness and response, community health systems, resilience-building and social accountability, with a focus on vulnerable, hard-to-reach and underserved populations. The incumbent promotes evidence-based, gender-responsive and disability-inclusive approaches that strengthen demand for, trust in and utilization of essential health services.
