International Consultant/Consultancy Firm - CLIMATE RESILIENCE AND ADAPTATION & SOCIAL PROTECTION

Save the Children International invites Individual Consultants and registered companies to submit proposals for a contract to provide the following service: The assignment will cover Gaza, Manica and Tete Provinces. The assignment is expected to run for 45 days from 23 October 2024 to 31 March 2027 Consultant Qualifications and Experience The consultant/firm shall have: •At least 7 years of experience in evaluations, research, or learning assignments for development, climate resilience, social protection, or humanitarian programmes. •Proven expertise in climate resilience, climate change adaptation, and/or social protection. •Experience conducting mixed-method evaluations and field-based research, including consultations with vulnerable groups. •Demonstrated ability to generate evidence-based findings and practical recommendations. •Experience working with government institutions, NGOs, development partners, and communities in Mozambique or similar contexts. •Strong understanding of gender, disability inclusion, safeguarding, and social inclusion. •Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills. •Fluency in English and Portuguese; knowledge of local languages is an advantage. •Previous experience with Green Climate Fund (GCF) or other climate finance-funded projects is desirable. •Commitment to complying with Save the Children’s Safeguarding Policy, Code of Conduct, and ethical standards.
