S30144 Geotechnical asset performance monitoring and reporting

This service is required to monitor and report the performance of the National Highways Geotechnical Condition Performance Indicator (PI) using information held by the Client (National Highways). This PI measures the percentage by length of the geotechnical asset in good condition. It contributes to the Road Investment Strategy (RIS) Performance Specification outcome, a well maintained and resilience network. This service will inform how effectively National Highways is managing the geotechnical assets throughout the RIS 3 and offer transparency and assurance, to our stakeholders. The Client is looking for Consultancy service to produce, analyse, monitor, and report the performance of the Geotechnical Condition Performance Indicator (PI) across the SRN. The definition of the PI is contained within section S110. The service will carry out monthly and annual analysis, validation, assurance and reporting of the PI, using information held by National Highways. This will include technical advice to support corporate performance assurance and audit activities, typically twice per year. The service will also provide technical advice on how existing asset management processes associated with the PI are undertaken across the business, to improve alignment and robustness. The service will seek to align parts of the business where differences are known or where they emerge, for example where different regions have different practices associated with, for example, legacy ways of working or DBFO hand back. It will advise where gaps are identified and advise on how those gaps may be filled.
