Peace and Security Pillar: Annual Uniformed Personnel Contribution Statistics

This dataset provides historical annual statistics on uniformed personnel contributed by countries to United Nations peacekeeping operations. The data is organized by contributing country, personnel category, calendar year and sex. Separate values are provided for male and female personnel. The personnel categories represented in the dataset include troops, staff officers, experts on mission, individual police and formed police units. The annual values are derived from monthly uniformed personnel deployment records. Decimal values therefore represent annual average personnel levels and should not be interpreted as counts of unique people or as personnel totals recorded on a single date. United Nations M49 and ISO alpha-3 codes identify the country contributing the personnel. They do not identify the duty station, host country or mission location where personnel were deployed.
