Awarded contract | £620,000 - £0 | Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service | Telematics system and Telematics services
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Authority has awarded a call-off contract to UK Telematics Limited for the continued provision of vehicle telematics hardware, software and associated services under Crown Commercial Service Framework RM6353, Lot 4 - Supply of Vehicle Telematics Hardware, Software and Associated Products. The contract covers the ongoing provision, support and maintenance of journey and incident data recorders, driver identification systems, front-facing vehicle cameras, telematics reporting and analytics tools, installation services, training, and associated information security requirements. The contract has been awarded via direct award under the framework to ensure continuity of service and maximise the value of existing telematics infrastructure installed across DSFRS' vehicles. The current telematics hardware is supplier-specific and cannot be transferred to an alternative provider, making a change of supplier disproportionate in terms of cost, operational disruption, and fleet downtime.
