The internship provides practical experience supporting the organization's communications, digital presence, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.6 months, remote, full-time (40 hours/week)Unpaid internshipExposure to communications, branding, digital marketing, content creation, and media productionIf travel is required, Trust will cover related logistics expensesBy the end of the internship, the intern is expected to be able to:Produce engaging written and visual content for different communication channels.Create social media content aligned with organizational branding and communication objectives.Design simple graphics, presentations, and promotional materials using appropriate design tools.Support the planning and promotion of webinars, events, and campaigns.Apply basic communication, branding, and digital marketing principles in a humanitarian and development context.Tasks and Responsibilities:Develop content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)Design visual materials, including graphics, infographics, presentations, and promotional contentAssist with editing videos and other multimedia contentDraft newsletters, website articles, and communication materialsSupport the organization and promotion of webinars, trainings, and eventsHelp maintain and update Trust's website and digital communication channelsMonitor social media engagement and prepare basic analytics reportsEnsure all communication materials follow Trust's branding guidelinesSupport documentation of organizational activities, projects, and success storiesConduct research on communication trends and best practicesOther tasks as assigned by the supervisorCandidate profile & qualificationsUniversity Degree in Development, Public Health, Social Sciences or other relevant subjects required, MA preferredAt least one year of professional experience in a related field within humanitarian/development and researchFluent/native English speakerStrong, demonstrable understanding of research and research methods, both qualitative and quantitativeGood analytical skillsVery strong Office package skills, including Excel skillsStrong writing and editing skillsDemonstrate a profound understanding of development/ humanitarian sectorExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal/communication skills and able to work in a multi-cultural work environmentAble to work independently under remote supervisionPreferred Skills:Experience managing social media accountsKnowledge of branding and digital marketing principlesExperience with website content management (e.g., WordPress)Photography or videography skillsFamiliarity with analytics tools (LinkedIn Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.)Knowledge of Arabic, Kurdish, or Turkish is an advantageBenefitsThe position is unpaid.However, there are numerous other benefits.
