This report is the appendix volume of the World Bank report on the implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Poland’s economy. It provides the technical methodology, assumptions, supporting analysis, and evidence underlying projections of AI’s impact on economic growth, firms, trade, productivity, and employment in Poland. The report introduces the MANAGE-AI framework, an extension of the World Bank’s computable general equilibrium (CGE) model that explicitly incorporates AI into production processes through a Hardware–Software structure. The model separates physical labor and capital from cognitive labor and digital software, enabling analysis of both AI-driven automation and augmentation across industries and occupations. AI affects the economy through productivity gains, labor substitution, workforce augmentation, and sectoral reallocation of capital and labor.
