This report analyzes the refugee and asylum-seeking population in Ghana, including demographic characteristics, geographic distribution, vulnerabilities, and development needs. Using UNHCR and national data, it examines recent displacement trends, the concentration of refugees in northern Ghana, and implications for host communities. The analysis highlights priority areas for intervention, including livelihoods, education, social services, and social cohesion, and provides evidence to support policy development and future investments under the Ghana Social Cohesion (SOCO) Project and related initiatives aimed at supporting forcibly displaced populations and host communities.
