Commission Brief: Project ManagerRestoring St Peter's Church and Revitalising Thetford's HeritageThe full Commission Brief is attached to this Notice.Project SummaryThis National Lottery Heritage Fund-supported project will undertake essential capital works, with approximately 80% focused on urgent conservation needs-addressing roof failure, water ingress, and decaying historic fabric. The remaining 20% of the capital works will deliver reversible interventions to enable sustainable, flexible use.Application ProcessThe procurement process will be undertaken in accordance with:•The Procurement Act 2023 •Thetford Town Council Financial Regulations •The Council's Procurement Strategy •The National Lottery Heritage Fund procurement guidanceFor clarity, the appointment will include an anticipated break period of approximately six months between submission of the Delivery Phase application and receipt of Permission to Start for the Delivery Phase. The Heritage Fund does not fund Project Management Consultancy costs during this interim period. The Council does not guarantee payment or continuation during this period unless separate funding is formally approved by Thetford Town Council.
