Country: KenyaOrganization: Secours Islamique FranceClosing date: 14 Aug 2026Organizational ProfileUnder the supervision of the Head of Mission, the Programs Coordinator provides strategic leadership and technical oversight for the design, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all SIF programs across the Kenya and Somalia Mission. The role ensures program quality, donor compliance, effective resource utilization, and cross-functional coordination, while contributing to resource mobilization, partnership development, and the Mission's overall strategic direction.Key ResponsibilitiesLead evidence-based program design aligned with SIF's strategic priorities and donor requirementsIdentify funding opportunities and lead proposal and concept note developmentEnsure programs comply with donor regulations, SIF policies, and humanitarian standardsOversee program quality assurance, MEAL systems, and risk managementRepresent SIF with donors, UN agencies, government institutions, NGOs, and partnersLead recruitment, capacity building, and performance management of program staffCoordinate closely with Finance, Logistics, HR, MEAL, and Security teamsPromote compliance with Child Safeguarding, PSEA, Anti-Fraud, and Code of Conduct policiesRequirementsMaster's degree (or equivalent) in a development-related field (Community Development, International Cooperation, Food Security, WASH, Protection, etc.)At least 8 years of relevant humanitarian/development field experience, including 4+ years in a senior Program Coordinator or Manager roleProven experience in sectors such as Food Security, Livelihoods, Cash Transfer, WASH, Shelter, DRR, or Youth/Women EmpowermentExperience in the Somalia and/or Kenya context is a strong advantageStrong track record in proposal writing and donor reporting in EnglishStrong knowledge of Program Cycle Management (PCM), budget management, and MEAL frameworksExcellent leadership, stakeholder coordination, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure in complex, dynamic, and insecure environmentsChild SafeguardingThis position involves direct and regular contact with children and is subject to criminal record checks and professional reference checks.
