The Child Protection Officer will provide effective and efficient technical and operational support for programme preparation, planning, implementation, monitoring, and coordination, contributing to the achievement of sustainable child protection results. This support will help strengthen protective environments for children, preventing violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect while promoting their survival, development and well-being. Successful implementation of child protection programme will also reinforce UNICEF's credibility and capacity to deliver high-quality services that advance children's rights and promote equity and social inclusion.
