The position also serves as business lead on medical information system projects and represents IOM as MHI subject matter expert in technical discussions on system interfaces with external partners.Required Qualifications and ExperienceEducationMaster’s degree in Health Sciences Social Science, Information Systems, Management or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience and preferable exposure to public health, epidemiology, health or social sciences; orUniversity degree in the above fields with seven (7) years of relevant professional experience including actual work with electronic health records and healthcare software systems development and implementation as business and quality control analyst, technical or medical writer, and trainer.Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.EXPERIENCEMaster’s degree in Health Sciences Social Science, Information Systems, Management or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five (5) years of relevant professional experience and preferable exposure to public health, epidemiology, health or social sciences; orUniversity degree in the above fields with seven (7) years of relevant professional experience including actual work with electronic health records and healthcare software systems development and implementation as business and quality control analyst, technical or medical writer, and trainer.SKILLSStrong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret medical information management needs and translate them into application/operational requirements.Excellent technical writing, editing, and content organization skills.
