The nurse supports the provision of direct nursing care to patients within the clinic, ensuring their comfort and safety, by implementing prescribed treatment plans and continuously monitoring their health. This includes measuring vital signs, administering treatments and nursing procedures, and educating patients about healthcare. The nurse also adheres to infection control protocols and quality standards, and coordinates with the medical team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and effective healthcare services.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Perform initial and follow-up assessments including measurement of vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate), weight, height, and visual acuity in line with health protocols.2. Collect and prepare biological samples (e.g., blood, urine, sputum) following proper infection prevention and control measures and laboratory guidelines3. Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation of patient records, medical certificates, and reporting forms in line with institutional and donor requirements.4. Adhere to and promote infection prevention and control protocols, and participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of care.5. Carry out any other nursing-related tasks assigned by supervisors to support health service delivery in line with organizational goalsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSShould have the following skills, education, and experience:1. Nursing institute, nursing school, or nursing college degree.2. Experience of at least two years3. Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications.4. Written and verbal communication skills5.
