Early Contractor Involvement for the Design for the Replacement of Middle Blackdene Footbridge

Durham County Council (DCC) require a contractor to prepare and under-take a scheme to remove the existing sub-standard footbridge and install a replacement structure (comprising steel beams with FRP deck and parapets). The existing abutments are to be retained and modified/ repaired as required to accommodate the replacement deck.
