North Yorkshire Council's (NYC) Housing Standards Team is responsible for the management and control of legionella across approximately thirty-three (33) sites under the Housing Revenue Account. These sites comprise a mix of Hostels, Independent Living Schemes, and Community Centres located within the Richmond, Harrogate, and Selby areas. See Appendix 'A' for a map of the area covered. As part of the Council's commitment to compliance, the Council wishes to procure the services a specialist Water Hygiene contractor to undertake Legionella Monitoring and Remedial works (inclusive of travel time) in North Yorkshire Council establishments, from September 2026. This tender will be run as a Further Competition via the ESPO Framework 198_25 - Water Systems - LOT 2 - Water Hygiene Monitoring Services (WHM). The contract will be for a minimum duration of two years, but with the option to extend the contract for a further two twelve months durations, in accordance with the conditions stated within the 198_25 - Water System Risk Assessment and Water Hygiene Monitoring Services Framework Agreement Issue 2
