This report identifies evidence-based, high-value adaptation actions that can help health systems respond to the growing impacts of climate change while delivering strong health and economic returns. Developed through a collaborative effort led by the World Bank and international partners, the study evaluates practical interventions that strengthen climate resilience in the health sector and support informed investment decisions. It highlights eight promising adaptation actions, including heat action plans, early warning systems, climate-resilient health infrastructure, drone-based medical supply delivery, community health worker-led education, telehealth services, mental health support programs, and mosquito vector control. In addition, the report identifies cost-effective clinical interventions relevant to climate-sensitive health conditions. The findings provide countries with actionable guidance for prioritizing investments that protect vulnerable populations, enhance health system resilience, and maximize value for money in the face of escalating climate risks.
