The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) intends to issue a single-source cooperative agreement award to the University of California, Santa Cruz. The award will renew the Data Resource and Administrative Coordination Center (DRACC), a component of the Scalable and Systematic Neurobiology of Psychiatric and Neurodevelopmental Disorder Risk Genes (SSPsyGene) Consortium. The long-term goal of SSPsyGene is to systematically study how risk genes for neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders (NPDs) affect molecular, cellular, circuit, systems/organismal biology.The renewed DRACC will refine its focus on developing a sustainable knowledge base, with shared terms, definitions, and data standards that are interoperable with other knowledge platforms and will enable the use of artificial intelligence to accelerate research on brain function and NPDs. This resource will be made available for broad use by the biomedical community. Projects that propose to build on the DRACC's current role in refining methods and standards to harmonize data from the SSPsyGene Assay and Data Generation Centers and facilitate submission to data archives are encouraged.This is a forecast for a single source NOFO that will invite application(s) from eligible organization(s) to apply. In accordance with NIH standard peer-review processes, the application(s) will be peer-reviewed, and only meritorious application(s) will be considered for funding.
