Am ITZ‐Standort Chemnitz entsteht das HIC als zentrale Infrastruktur des Innovations- und Technologiezentrums für Wasserstofftechnologien. Der Bauabschnitt HIC-Office beinhaltet Bürobereiche des Zentrums mit Flächen für die HIC Organisation, Besprechungsräume, Konferenz- und Schulungsbereiche sowie flexible mietbare Büros für Start-Ups und KMU. Der Bauabschnitt HIC-Lab beinhaltet Hallen- und Technikbereich mit Laborflächen für Brennstoffzellen-/Elektrolyse- und Systemprüfstände, Fahrzeugflächen, Werkstattflächen, mietbare Labore sowie Anliefer- und Nebenbereiche. Der Auftraggeber beabsichtigt, einen Planer mit Leistungsphasen der LPH 1 bis einschließlich LPH 8 des Leistungsbildes Objektplanung „Gebäude und Innenräume" sowie "Freianlagen" stufenweise sowie optional mit Beratungsleistungen der Bauphysik, Vermessung und Brandschutz für beide Bauabschnitte zu beauftragen.
