This position is located in the Counterintelligence and Counterterrorism Vetting Division , Office of Investigations, Directorate of Domestic Operations, Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS/DO/INV/CCV), U. S. Department of State. The Office of Investigations enhances DS's global law enforcement efforts by developing authoritative investigative policy and guidance; providing liaison and investigative support. For more information about the Bureau, visit: DS Education requirements do not apply to this vacancy announcement. The incumbent will be required to meet all requirements for certification as a federal polygraph examiner, to include successfully completing the Psychophysiological Detection of Deception Course at the National Center for Credibility Assessment. This course requires the selectee to possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
