We help organisations communicate their work, engage audiences and present their impact through clear and compelling content.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Development Expert to support opportunity identification, proposal development and the preparation of competitive submissions.About the RoleThe successful candidate will support Field Production’s business development activities by identifying relevant opportunities, reviewing tender requirements, preparing proposal content and coordinating submission documents. The role requires strong English writing skills, previous proposal-development experience and the ability to manage deadlines independently.Experience in media and communication, research or consulting is particularly desirable. The candidate should be comfortable working remotely and collaborating with colleagues, experts and partners across different locations.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify business opportunities: Monitor relevant platforms and track tenders, requests for proposals and expressions of interest aligned with Field Production’s services.Review tender requirements: Summarise assignment objectives, deliverables, eligibility criteria, evaluation requirements, deadlines and required submission documents.Support proposal development: Draft, edit and tailor technical proposals, expressions of interest, concept notes and company capability statements.Present relevant experience: Select suitable project references, work samples and expert profiles, clearly explaining their relevance to each opportunity.Coordinate proposal inputs: Follow up with colleagues, consultants and partners to gather CVs, biographies, technical contributions and supporting documents.Support financial offers: Assist with preparing budgets and checking consistency between proposed activities, resources and costs.Maintain business development records: Keep opportunity trackers, company profiles, portfolios, project references and expert databases organised and updated.Ensure submission quality: Check proposals for clarity, accuracy, formatting, completeness and compliance with tender instructions.Required Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience supporting proposal writing, tender preparation or business development.Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory, including the ability to produce clear, professional proposal content.Strong research, editing and analytical skills, with close attention to detail.Ability to understand terms of reference and translate requirements into relevant, well-structured content.Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several tasks and deadlines.Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and online collaboration tools.Ability to work independently, communicate proactively and contribute effectively within a remote team.Desirable ExperienceExperience in media production, communication, research, evaluation or consulting services.Familiarity with proposals for NGOs, UN agencies, donors or development organisations.Experience preparing budgets, company portfolios or expert CVs.Additional language skills are an advantage.How to applyHow to ApplyPlease submit your application through the following link:https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfb9PIIBOpGuLUQXmRVzJBQW4f3x9YmVQhSA8vOU6oybbAjzg/viewform?usp=publish-editorNote: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
