World Bank Pink Sheet data show energy prices surging 25.7% in September 2026, while non-energy prices rose 1.3% and precious metals declined.

The energy price index surged by 25.7% in September, led by crude oil (+21.2%) and natural gas (+15.3%), according to the World Bank's Pink Sheet. The non-energy index edged up by 1.3%. Agricultural prices rose 1.6% in September, with food gaining 3.8% and raw materials edging up 0.9%, while beverages prices fell 4.6%. Fertilizer prices changed little at 0.4%. Metals rose almost 1%in September, with zinc up 3.8%, partly offset by tin declining 3.0%. Precious metals eased 1.9%, with gold falling 2.1% and silver 1.2%. The Pink Sheet is a monthly report that monitors commodity price movements.
