If you're a solutions-driven, passionate change-maker, come join us in positively impacting the lives of millions of people world-wide for a better future.This position has an end date of September 30, 2027.Job Overview:Major Responsibilities:Staff Supervision responsibilitiesLead and develop direct service staff through facilitation of team meetings and individual supervision, including coaching and goal setting.Liaise regularly with HQ colleagues for guidance, case consultations, direct financial assistance, and other support as needed, and share relevant information with the casework team.Cultivate a respectful and supportive environment for team members and clients.Recruit, train, and manage the team in accordance with IRC’s People Manager Standards.Carry out timely, professional interventions to ensure responsive, appropriate, and client-centered service delivery.Train direct reports on using IRC systems such as Integra, ETO, and IRIS.Representing IRC in public, professional, and governmental fora as needed.Other duties as assigned.Service DeliveryGuide PIR program implementation and ensure all required services are completed in a timely manner.Assign cases to caseworkers and manage timely provision of services including airport pickups, provision of safe, sanitary, and affordable housing, home visits, school enrollment, domestic health assessments, and connection to community resources as applicable.Supervise the RSS Case Management Program, including staff referrals, connection of clients to services, and tracking client participation and progressEnsure follow-up on all necessary services, including application to public benefits as applicable, referrals to immigration services, applications for Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and medical and mental health needs.Provide oversight so each client receives at least one meaningful interaction every 30 days during their service period.Ensure case closeout procedures are followed once a client has reached the goals of their program.Partnership BuildingManage relationships with property owners and managers to expand access to sources of affordable housing.Collaborate with colleagues to encourage timely internal referrals for additional services, such as employment, immigration services, and intensive case management.Identify and maintain relationships with local government and community-based organizations to connect clients with necessary benefits and services.Develop relationships with community resources such as shelters for temporary housing, domestic violence shelters, mental health providers, and medical specialists.Develop and maintain vendor relationships that create budgetary savings and improve efficiency.Documentation, Reporting and Contract ComplianceEnsure that case file documentation is maintained in compliance with contract requirements.Guide the timely implementation of program updates as needed.Liaise with the HQ colleagues to ensure thorough understanding of program guidelines and disseminate guidelines to the direct service team.Review data to meet donor reporting requirements.Assist with the preparation for all monitoring visits, including IRC, the Kentucky Office for Refugees (KOR), and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).Monitor program execution to ensure compliance with all funding requirements; communicate program needs to the management team.Job Requirements:Education:Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, preferably in social work or related fieldWork Experience:Minimum two to three years of experience implementing domestic refugee resettlement or similar programsExperience supervising, supporting, and training staff strongly preferredExperience in program management and responsibility for budget management preferredDemonstrated Skills and Competencies:Familiarity with Integra, IRIS, SMART, and Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) strongly preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to prioritize and manage time effectivelyDemonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member in a multicultural environmentExcellent written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in a language spoken by client populations is a plusValid driver’s license, reliable access to a vehicle with current insurance, and the ability to travel regularly throughout the service delivery areaWorking Environment:A combination of a standard office environment and ‘field’ time in and around the service delivery area to perform the above-outlined responsibilities.May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.Compensation: ($$59,962.5 - annually). Compensation is based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
