Under the supervision of the Chief, Strategic Planning and Analytics Unit, we are looking for a Programme Specialist, who will support the coordination, quality assurance, analysis and continuous improvement of UNICEF country programming processes, with a particular focus on Country Programme Documents (CPDs) and related Executive Board processes. They will coordinate and support the timely preparation and submission of CPDs and CPD extensions, contribute to preparations for relevant Executive Board segments; maintain and develop programming guidance and quality assurance approaches, including in relation to country programme development and work planning, and support coherence across related planning processes; generate analysis and learning to inform organizational decision-making and manage the Unit’s SharePoint to support documentation and organizational learning. They will also explore and support the responsible use of AI and other innovative approaches to strengthen Country Programme development, review, analysis and programming support, while providing flexible support to emerging priorities of the Unit. They are the focal point for humanitarian planning as well as the Inter-Agency work related to the Integrated Policy Practitioners' Network (IPPN).
