Country: NigeriaOrganization: INTERSOSClosing date: 19 Oct 2026JOB PURPOSE:The incumbent will be responsible for collecting field immunization data, verifying its accuracy, compiling monthly reports, and submitting them to the EPI Department and the INTERSOS Health and MEAL teams in Maiduguri. The incumbent will also receive EPI registers, tally sheets, and other reporting tools from the EPI Department in Maiduguri and distribute them to health facilities. This will ensure that field teams consistently use standardized SMOH templates throughout the implementation of the Gates Foundation project.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for receiving EPI registers, tally sheets, and other routine immunization data collection tools from the State Ministry of Health (SMOH) EPI Department and distributing them to health facilities and mobile clinics as needed.Responsible for training field vaccinators, outreach teams, and community health workers/volunteers on the correct use of EPI tools and reporting formats.Supports field vaccinators and medical activity managers to develop micro-plans based on catchment population data.Compiles monthly routine immunization and nOPV2 vaccination coverage data, and produces reports for the health team detailing the number of children vaccinated, defaulters and polio-related AEFI cases etc.Supports the health and MEAL teams to extract data from the immunization database and generate reports aligned with Gates Foundation and SMOH (EPI) reporting requirements and guidelines.conducts regular field visits to ensure that data collection and reporting at facility and outreach levels meet SMOH, INTERSOS, and GF standards and guidance.Coordinates with the pharmacy team to collect vaccine stock and utilization data, including vaccine types and doses (including nOPV2), total quantities used, and quantities damaged and/or expired.Participates in monthly SMOH (EPI Department) meetings in consultation with the Medical Coordinator and the Technical Manager.Education & Professional Requirements:Education:Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Public Health, Health information management, Statistics, Nursing or equivalent.Professional requirements:At least 6 months of previous work experience in a data-management role in NGOAble to learn and use software used for recordingEssential computer literacy (word, excel)Personal requirements:Results and quality orientationTeamwork and cooperationBehavioural flexibilityService orientationCommitment to INTERSOS principleLanguagesProficiency in English (written and spoken)Knowledge and fluency in English and local languages (Hausa and Kanuri) will be an asset.How to applyInterested candidates should complete this Form and attach their CV with Cover Letter following this format“Surname_ Position you applied for”.Application Deadline: apply not later than Monday, 19thOctober 2026 by 12:00 PM.ONLY applicants whose competencies meet the requirements of the position will be contacted.Please note: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
