The escalating violence, limited humanitarian access, and systemic breakdown of essential services demanded urgent intervention. For this purpose, NRC decided to start up a new operation in Haiti and started programmatic interventions in early 2025 whilst setting up an office in Port-au-Prince. The ongoing start-up continues with a planned expansion to new areas of operations with education and protection and potentially other programmatic areas. We are looking for people who are passionate about helping refugees and people forced to flee.
