The Government of the Republic of Kenya (GoK) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of The Horn of Africa Groundwater for Resilience Project, Kenya. (HoAGW4RP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of Water Pans in Mandera County.2. The Water Resources Authority (WRA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of Water Pans – Batch II (Dandu, Shimbir Fatuma and Karo) in Mandera County as detailed below:• Dandu Waterpan - Capacity 30,000m3• Shimbir Fatuma Waterpan - Capacity 37,700m3• Karo Water Pan- Capacity 10,000m3• Ancillary Works -Construction of Cattle troughs, intake and draw off facilities.3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised in September 2023, 5th Edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Water Resources Authority, Agatha Njuguna, info@wra.cgo.ke and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0800 to 1700 hours local time from Monday to Friday, except public holidays. at the address given below.5.
